This policy explains how Rad Soft, Inc. handles information when you use Handback.
Information we collect
We collect account details, names used for deliveries, registered addresses, device and push notification information, package label photos and videos, extracted label data, carrier and tracking details, handoff details, security signals, and support communications. With permission, we collect precise device location when an address is saved, as a fraud-prevention signal, and when a finder looks for nearby public handoff spots. We use it at those moments only — Handback does not track your location in the background.
Identity verification
Recipients complete identity verification through Didit, our verification provider. Didit may collect a government ID, selfie, and related verification information under its own privacy terms. Handback receives the verification status and the name and address extracted from the ID. Handback does not receive or store the government-ID document image or selfie.
Safety reports and blocking
If you report another user, we collect the reason you select, anything you choose to write, and the handoff the report relates to. We use reports to investigate conduct, enforce our Terms, and keep people apart when they ask to be. Reports are retained even if the related package record is removed, so a pattern of behavior is not erased by deleting a package. The person you report is not told who filed it. If you choose not to be matched with someone again, we retain that choice so we can honor it.
How we use information
We use information to operate package matching, verify recipients, prevent fraud and abuse, arrange and document handoffs, send notifications, provide support, comply with law, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or permit public searches by name or address.
How information is shared
We share information with service providers that support hosting, identity verification, authentication, analytics, notifications, email, storage, geocoding, carrier checks, and label reading. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or in connection with a corporate transaction. A finder does not receive a recipient's ID or searchable address information.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Handback, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Open package records may expire and their media may be deleted. You may delete your account in the app. Account deletion removes associated profile and package data, subject to limited security, audit, backup, fraud-prevention, and legal retention needs.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, signed verification callbacks, limited claim attempts, and private media access. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can manage notification preferences, revoke devices, update recipient names, withdraw a found-package report, and delete your account in the app. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
Children
Handback is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as Handback changes. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
